Yesterday I attended the 2025 Texas Chapter Grammy Member Celebration at the Granada Theater in Dallas, and the entire experience reminded me why the music community in Texas is something special. The event brought together artists, producers, songwriters, engineers, and industry professionals from across the state. It felt like a real gathering of people who care about music and the craft behind it.
The celebration had a relaxed but exciting atmosphere. There were live performances, panels, and a lot of open networking everywhere you turned. People were sharing ideas, talking about projects, and building real connections. It was the kind of night that fills you with inspiration and motivates you to stay active in the community.
One of the highlights for me was meeting Dolby Atmos certified engineer Vanessa Ayala. Her work and her insight into modern audio were impressive, and it was great having the chance to connect with her.
I also met singer Monica Saldivar, a Tejano Music Awards winner, and had the chance to network with her during the event. Moments like that are what make gatherings like this so valuable.
I want to give a special thanks to Joseph Arriaga from Houston, a 2025 class member of the Texas Chapter, for inviting me and making sure I could be part of the celebration. I appreciate him opening that door for me.
Overall the night left me inspired. Being in Dallas surrounded by so many talented people reminded me how strong the Texas music community really is. I am grateful for the experience and I look forward to staying connected with everyone I met.
